Accident & Emergency departments at local hospitals will treat serious injuries and sudden illness.

Your nearest hospital is: Maidstone Hospital, Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, Kent ME16 9QQ Tel: 01622 729 000

If it is not an emergency, then contact your doctor.

NHS 111

Call 111 when you need medical help fast but it’s not a 999 emergency.

NHS 111 is much more than a helpline – if you're worried about an urgent medical concern, you can call 111 to speak to a fully trained adviser.

Depending on the situation, the NHS 111 team can connect you to a nurse, emergency dentist or even a GP, and can arrange face-to-face appointments if they think you need one. NHS 111 advisers can also assess if you need an ambulance and send one immediately if necessary.

Find out more about NHS 111 by downloading their easy read leaflet.
